Erin Keller

Erin has been playing piano for 28 years, beginning when she was five years old. She has in-depth knowledge of piano techniques and repertoire, especially for beginning to intermediate level students. Erin has taught private piano lessons for six years, having had as many as 40 piano students at a time. She has experience as a church and choir accompanist and uses piano daily in her teaching. Her favorite pieces to play include waltzes by Chopin, Clair de Lune by Debussy, and the Pathetique Sonata by Beethoven. She also has excellent skills as a sight-reader and focuses not only on technique but also on fundamental musicianship skills in her teaching, including sight-reading, ear-training, and music theory.
